Since opening its doors in 1961, Resurrection Academy—founded by the Resurrectionist Priesthood—has remained committed to academic excellence and the foundation of Catholic faith as part of the Diocese of San Bernardino. As a ministry of St. John XXIII Parish, our school continues to nurture students in a Christ-centered environment, inspiring them to grow in faith, knowledge, and service.
What began as a modest four-room school in 1964, staffed by the Daughters of the Divine Charity and guided by the mission of the Resurrectionist Fathers, has flourished into a vibrant learning community. A second building was quickly added to welcome additional grade levels, and over time, the school evolved to meet the needs of families through innovation and faith-filled leadership. The addition of a preschool program in 1985 and extended care in 1986 strengthened our commitment to serving the whole child and supporting working families. The construction of our social hall in 1988 and a dedicated middle school building in 1994 reflected continued growth, both in enrollment and in the scope of our mission. Through the generosity of the Children and Families Commission of San Bernardino County, our preschool expanded again in 2003 to better serve early learners.
Today, Resurrection Academy stands as a welcoming, diverse, and close-knit school community. Our dedicated faculty and staff provide students with a strong academic foundation grounded in faith, compassion, and service. Parents play an essential role in our mission—through their generous support, volunteer involvement, and trust in Catholic education.
Our graduates carry forward the values learned here, with many continuing their education in Catholic high schools and beyond. Alumni often return to visit, share their accomplishments, and even entrust the next generation of students to the same nurturing environment they once called home.
Rooted in tradition and strengthened by faith, Resurrection Academy continues to embrace students of all backgrounds and learning abilities. Together—faculty, families, and students—we celebrate our diversity, honor our Catholic identity, and remain dedicated to teaching minds, touching hearts, and transforming lives.

At Resurrection Academy, we believe in fostering a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect. We strive to create an environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Our rigorous academic curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire students to reach their full potential. From science and technology to the arts and humanities, we offer a well-rounded education that prepares students for success in college and beyond.
At Resurrection Academy, we believe that education is a collaborative effort between students, parents, and faculty. We encourage open communication and active participation from all members of our community.
